thank you 10,000 times and 1 year anniversary of my blog

It’s been crazy hectic for me lately and when my blog stats hit 10,000 I had to look at it twice! Sure enough 10,000 sweet hits. Thank you to all who continue to read and support my blog. And to all newcomers to my blog, welcome!

A year ago, I wanted an outlet to share and express my love for baking. And a year later with your positive feedback and comments on my posts, I am even more determined to continue sharing my baking experiences with all of you.

Stay tuned I want to celebrate my year of blogging and have a few ideas for giveaways.

To my ai daughter and son–Mommy loves you very much. ¬†And to my hubby/photographer, thank you for supporting me with this blogging thing and baking. ¬†Without you and your support (not to mention pics!) I couldn’t continue to do what ai love (besides you of course).

      Thanks Giovanna! Just like you it’s hard for me to find the time to blog with kids! I enjoy your blog also since I too long for the past and my childhood foods. Like your Golleria for example, it reminds me of Turon or Banana Lumpia : )

          Yes turon is so yummy! Please do try it- just wrap some ripe bananas and brown sugar in a lumpia wrapper. You can dip in sugar and fry or I just fry it without since there is sugar inside already. Some people make a dipping sauce but I think it takes away from the banana taste.
